Cole Chance (US)

Cole Chance has been a seeker all her life. It’s brought her to the depths of addiction, to all corners of the world, to the path of yoga, and most importantly, back home to herself. She’s a recovery educator and trauma-informed yoga teacher, teaching in many capacities from international retreats, teacher trainings and festivals, to rehabs and prisons. 

Cole believes in utilizing curiosity and intellect, both mental and somatic, to peel back our many layers and find more freedom. Her teachings are woven with yogic and Buddhist philosophy, neuroscience, and modern psychology, all on a bedrock of compassionate self-inquiry.

Samskaras are unconscious patterns and conditionings that show up in all aspects of our lives.  Some are beneficial, some neutral, and many just keep us stuck. In this workshop we will use asana & various reflective practices to begin to peek into our patterning & bring the habitual into the light so we can explore them with a kind curiosity, re-organizing where desired.  A bit of mindful interior design!

The Heart Practices are the 4 qualities the Buddha encourages us to nurture. These beautiful virtures don’t actually need to be created or found as they are already innate in each of us. However, life gets tricky baby and our hearts get guarded and bruised. Often we need a bit of a clear out and cultivation of the heart to remember the innate care we ease possess. We’ll explore through yoga, meditation and authentic relating to uncover a clearer map of our heart’s potential.
