Shake the dust is a transformative and embodied practice of the body-heart-mind. This class is all about that sense of fluidity. Time feels like it has slowed down or like there’s no time at all. All your senses are heightened, completely immersed in and one with the task at hand, as action and awareness rise from the fullness of BEING syncing to create an effortless momentum into creation.

Through a guided poetic universe with a theme related to each practice, we journey between perpetual movement, rest, release and free movement. With shaking, jumping, dancing, intuitive moment (some yoga sometimes, too), pilates, somatics and body weight training, not to mention a carefully curated kick-ass playlist, this class is designed for anyone and will at best deliver a cathartic release, a sweaty workout, and a strong, resilient body.

This masterclass is a deep journey into the inner terrain of your body and into a more tangible, yet also subtle, embodied experience of the Self. Teachers of yoga will find inspiration and tools to hold space for a more somatic and embodied way of teaching yoga.

In practice, in our yoga journey together, we will embody this continuum from fluids to bones through somatics, intuitive release, free movement and asana. To support this journeying, a creative and somatic soundscape will be offered.

There are really no prerequisites or preparations, although some embodied experience in vinyasa flow type of yoga would be beneficial. Please come to the class sober and please bring a journal and pen if you´d like.

We will start with a short satsang (an introduction talk and a drop in to the group). There will be no partner work or touching, it will be  a very personal yet energetically held experience. There will be an orientation and journaling after.

Come as you are and be ready to receive yourself!

What I am going to share in this class is probably the most important practice I have received from my teachers years ago and I practice this weekly. It is related to the intricacies of fire element/phase in Chinese medicine.

Our feelings etc. are inherently pure energy. There is no good or bad energy, positive or negative, just energy for you to receive, gather and utilize all ways and always, even when there are difficult stories/feelings attached to the situation.

Everything is just coming and going, coming and going… when you learn to let go of the story and stay with the energy. This will strengthen the energy body, You. Ultimately, it helps us embody wisdom virtues and that unfathomable love which encompasses everything and everyone in the FULLNESS of their being. Empty is not empty at all but full of awareness, love, BEING.

Embodied Yin yoga invites us to explore our multidimensional capacities for healing by listening and sensing with the whole body-mind. It increases awareness of our mind-body connection in each dimension and through different somatic approaches, intuitive movement, classical nondual Tantra, Chinese medicine and Yin yoga, opens up space by helping to release limitations.
