A: Magnesia Festival is held on the 28th-30th of July 2023.
A: Magnesia Festival is held at Suomenlinna Island in Helsinki and you can get there by HSL ferry from Market Square in the center of Helsinki. JT-Line water buses also run to Suomenlinna, which stop at Suomenlinnakeskus pier and Kuninkaanportti, located in the middle of Suomenlinna. The ferry ride takes about 15 minutes.
The guest harbor in the middle of Suomenlinna caters to visitors arriving by their own boats.
In addition to the ferry ride, it's good to allow about half an hour for transfers on the island, depending on where the workshop is located.

A: The ticket price includes all of Magnesia's wellbeing, music and other programs. There will be plenty of workshops during the weekend and we have calculated the capacity so that each festival guest can attend about three workshops per day. There will be additional activities in the outdoor area which you can also easily participate in. We will inform about the pre-booking system when the program is published later in the spring. A big part of our event is also hanging out on the island, eating and spontaneous meaningful encounters with other festival goers.
A: Most of the yoga workshops are suitable for beginners. You also don't have to do yoga at all if you don't want to, there are plenty of other options available in the program.
The program of Magnesia Festival is designed in such a way that both those who have just started yoga as well as experienced yogis will enjoy it. It's also easy to try out different yoga styles at the festival. In addition to yoga, the program will also include a lot of high-quality and interesting content, from speeches to sound healing, music, dance and coaching workshops.
A: Some of the classes and workshops will have a pre-booking system and some will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. The 2023 program will be published in late spring, and at the same time we will inform you about the reservation system. We are doing our best to make sure that the functionality of the event and your experience at Magnesia Festival goes as smoothly as possible.
A: Bring your own yoga mat, water bottle and a variety of clothes for both sweating and relaxation. If you get cold easily or need a soft surface for yoga, a blanket can be a good idea. Also note that the weather conditions in Suomenlinna can change quickly and the island is always windier than the mainland.
A: There is no age limit for Magnesia. Sunday 30.7. is our traditional family day, when ticket holders can bring 1-3 children under the age of 12 to enjoy Magnesia's family program. On other days, children are warmly welcome to the general outdoor festival area to hang out with their parents, but there is no special program for children or families. The workshops are primarily for adults.
A: Although most of the program is in Finnish, we also get to enjoy quality English-language content every day. The program for 2023 will be published during the spring and the instruction language of each workshop will be marked on it.
A: Magnesia Festival is not committed to any ideology or trend, but wants to connect all people interested in a good life. Magnesia's mission is to create a heartfull revolution together towards a happier, more energetic and meaningful life.

A: We are happy to provide more information on the subject by email at [email protected].
A: Suomenlinna is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and camping there is prohibited. There is one hostel and several Airbnb accommodations in Suomenlinna, and the many accommodation options in the center of Helsinki are only a short ferry ride away.
