Magnesia’s mission is to create a heartful revolution towards a more joyful, energetic and meaningful life, together.
Magnesia Festival was born in 2016 when Oded and Asaf Peled, Kaisa Kärkkäinen and Mari Rasimus had a vision to create an event & experience were yoga, well-being, live music, healthy food, island living & nature and city festival - are all combined. Right from the start, they wanted to create a space with uplifting spirits, an atmosphere and content that gives us an opportunity to enjoy, inspire and empower each other.
The first three years of Magnesia Festival took place on the island of Lonna. In 2019 the Festival moved to the UNESCO world heritage island of Suomenlinna, offering the needed extra capacity for the growing event. In January 2020 the first Winter Getaway event was held in Suomenlinna. As Covid struck, Magnesia turned to the web for the Online Journey -concept and a Summer Days minifestival in 2022.
In the summer of 2023 Magnesia Festival returns to its full glory and takes place in Suomenlinna’s unique surroundings, with Finland's leading wellbeing teachers, live music and hundreds of beautiful people. Everyone is welcome to Magnesia, simply as they are.
